Chalet Bella Vista 1 is a modern 2 bedroom vacation apartment conveniently located in the heart of the family-friendly “car-free” village of Wengen! Just a 200m from the train station and 300m from the cable car, access to mountain hiking trails and ski areas is literally on your doorstep! This smart contemporary garden apartment sleeps up to 4 people, has 2 double bedrooms, one with a king-sized bed and one with twin beds. All beds are European sizes. There are 2 bathrooms, one with a bath, shower and WC, and one with a shower and WC. There is also a lift in the chalet for easy access! Very family-friendly, this modern apartment is bright and spacious, measuring over 90 square metres. The large bright large patio doors “let the outside in” and lead you to the sunny south-facing terrace where a treat awaits the kids… a children’s playground in the garden!! Recently built, the aptly named Chalet Bella Vista is an easy short walk to the centre of activity in Wengen. With fresh and cheerful accents, the open concept living, dining and kitchen area is the perfect gathering place, making it easy to cook, eat, entertain and relax all in one space! Warm your toes in front of a roaring fire in the Swedish wood burner while enjoying a glass of wine and some fine Swiss cheeses after a day of hiking or skiing. Or simply soak in the sunshine while dining al fresco on the terrace. Free WiFi internet, cable TV, DVD player, Geneva CD player, iPod docking station all make entertainment easy and the apartment feel like a ‘home away from home’ – an easy, relaxed space to be yourself and enjoy your holiday in Wengen. There is a ski and boot storage room by the front door and there are shared washing and drying machines in the basement.

This property is located in Wengen, a stunning alpine village in the heart of the Jungfrau Region. Important: Wengen is a car-free mountain village with no road access. Private vehicles are not allowed. There is no road to drive to Wengen. The only way to access Wengen is by train. Guests must drive to the village of Lauterbrunnen, located in the valley below, where you will find a large multi-storey parking garage next to the Lauterbrunnen train station. You must park your car there for the duration of your stay. From Lauterbrunnen, it’s a 12-minute scenic train ride up the mountain to Wengen. Trains run regularly throughout the day and well into the evening. Once you arrive in Wengen, taxis are available to take you and your luggage to the apartment, if needed.
