Chalet Fortuna 4 Penthouse is a luxury 3rd-floor holiday apartment with south and west-facing balconies with wonderful panoramic views of the famous Jungfrau and neighbouring mountains and is located in the family-friendly “car-free” village of Wengen. It's just 5 minutes (350m) level walk to Wengen train station and 450m to the cable car providing access to the mountains and ski areas just a short distance away! This stunning top-floor apartment sleeps up to 6 people: Bedroom 1 = king-size double bed Bedroom 2 = king-size double bed Bedroom 3 = king-size double bed All beds are European sizes. Bathroom 1 = bath with shower overhead and WC (en-suite) Bathroom 2 = shower and WC (en-suite) Bathroom 3 = shower and WC The fully equipped kitchen opens to the dining and living areas with modern stylish décor and high-quality furnishings. Relax in front of the central fireplace with a favourite drink after your day of skiing or hiking while you enjoy the dramatic views of the mountains through the floor-to-ceiling windows. Note: We warmly welcome guests to our holiday rental apartment. Please note that due to safety considerations and the layout of our space, we are unable to accommodate children under 8 years old. This property is located in Wengen, a stunning alpine village in the heart of the Jungfrau Region. Important: Wengen is a car-free mountain village with no road access. Private vehicles are not allowed. There is no road to drive to Wengen. The only way to access Wengen is by train. Guests must drive to the village of Lauterbrunnen, located in the valley below, where you will find a large multi-storey parking garage next to the Lauterbrunnen train station. You must park your car there for the duration of your stay. From Lauterbrunnen, it’s a 12-minute scenic train ride up the mountain to Wengen. Trains run regularly throughout the day and well into the evening. Once you arrive in Wengen, taxis are available to take you and your luggage to the apartment, if needed.
