We are Percy and Anna Kirkman, owners of our 4vallees4saisons professional chalet rental and sales business in La Tzoumaz and Chamonix. We love mountains and mountain sports and spend our time sharing that love with our two young daughters and our older sons. We are fluent in both English and French. Originally from England, we both followed international careers within Procter & Gamble before making a life-changing move to the mountains when we met. After becoming the keyholders for Interhome in La Tzoumaz as our first business idea, we created the 4vallees4saisons brand to actively grow our portfolio to over 70 properties by offering a high quality bi-lingual service to both our travellers and our property owners. We believe the regions of La Tzoumaz and Chamonix are both magical and we are passionate about the beauty and opportunities of the alpine area. We have access to some of the best skiing in Europe, hundreds of kilometres of majestic hiking, fantastic mountain bike trails, wonderful family footpaths, and it is a delight to visit all year round. We want other people to enjoy La Tzoumaz and Chamonix all year round, not just now, but into the future.

This luxury five-bedroom, four-bathroom chalet with outdoor jacuzzi and sauna is a rare treat in La Tzoumaz with its ski-in and ski-out access, and an easy walk to the resort centre! Comfortably sleeping up to 13 people and decorated with luxurious warmth and style, the Chalet Grand Ours is a fabulous place to spend your holidays with friends or family. The centrepiece is a stunning open kitchen/living/dining room with incredible views and a wood-burning fireplace. There are several terraces and balcony areas with plenty of seating options to enjoy the outdoors without ever really leaving the chalet. Due to its elevated position, Chalet le Grand Ours and its jacuzzi benefit from fantastic views across the valley and to the mountains up to 20km away. The large windows of the open living / dining area were specially designed to make the most of this ever-changing vista. At the end of an exhilirating day in the mountains, allow yourself to be soothed by the spray jets and gentle bubbles of the outdoor jacuzzi, and watch as the lights start to twinkle in the faraway villages across the valley. In our experience any remaining tensions can be relieved with a fun game of table tennis. The centre of La Tzoumaz benefits from an outdoor ice-skating rink in winter, and a children's playground area in summer, with a rope-based agility park alongside more traditional equipment such as slides. A fun channel system with running water is built into the hillside to provide plenty of entertainment for older children too. At the exit of the village the Domus playground is a fabulous spot, often bathed in late afternoon sunshine, with swings, a zipline, see-saw, climbing frames and even old tractors to clamber on. It is overlooked by an outdoor cafe (check opening hours) providing drinks, snacks and ice-creams. There are rabbits, donkeys, goats, and there is also rock-climbing on the local crag in the background (contact us for equipment and instructors). The Maison de la Foret has a cafe area for drinks and snacks (check opening hours), wildlife exhibitions and its Five Senses Nature Trail with hands-on activities to borrow such as bird-whistling and learning to draw. The Nature Trail has disabled parking and is accessible to wheelchairs and children's buggies.
