We are Percy and Anna Kirkman, owners of our 4vallees4saisons professional chalet rental and sales business in La Tzoumaz and Chamonix. We love mountains and mountain sports and spend our time sharing that love with our two young daughters and our older sons. We are fluent in both English and French. Originally from England, we both followed international careers within Procter & Gamble before making a life-changing move to the mountains when we met. After becoming the keyholders for Interhome in La Tzoumaz as our first business idea, we created the 4vallees4saisons brand to actively grow our portfolio to over 90 properties by offering a high quality bi-lingual service to both our travellers and our property owners. We believe the regions of La Tzoumaz and Chamonix are both magical and we are passionate about the beauty and opportunities of the alpine area. We have access to some of the best skiing in Europe, hundreds of kilometres of majestic hiking, fantastic mountain bike trails, wonderful family footpaths, and it is a delight to visit all year round. We want other people to enjoy La Tzoumaz and Chamonix all year round, not just now, but into the future.

A delightful chalet to rent in La Tzoumaz Chalet le Raccard is equipped with three spacious bedrooms and a sauna. The pleasantly decorated open plan living/dining room has a comfortable sitting area with the perfect mountain atmosphere for your adventurous holiday or peaceful mountain retreat. Bedrooms and bathrooms With three bedrooms and two bathrooms, this chalet is ideal for 6 people. Upstairs there are two spacious double bedrooms (one with king-size double bed 180x200cm, and the other with a queen-size double bed 160x200cm) and a twin bedroom with two single beds (90x200cm). There is a bathroom on each of the two floors, each with a shower, washbasin, WC and hairdryer. La Tzoumaz Chalet le Raccard is equipped with a high chair and a folding travel cot (bedding not provided) suitable for children under 2 years of age, and a second is available on request on arrival. Please note that according to the manufacturer's safety instructions, extra mattresses are not provided with the cots. The main (lower) floor of the chalet has an open kitchen, living and dining area. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need for holiday catering, including an oven, hob, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, Nespresso and electric filter coffee machines, and fridge-freezer. There are fondue and raclette sets for a traditional Swiss evening by the fire. Furniture for outdoor seating and dining is provided. Relax in the sauna after a hard day on the slopes, or relax on the balcony and listen to the birds singing in the nearby forest. It's difficult not to be distracted by the beautiful and ever-changing mountain views. When the sky is blue, the view stretches for 20km towards the distant mountains on the pretty skyline. The centre of La Tzoumaz benefits from an outdoor ice-skating rink in winter, and a children's playground area in summer, with a rope-based agility park alongside more traditional equipment such as slides. A fun channel system with running water is built into the hillside to provide plenty of entertainment for older children too. At the exit of the village the Domus playground is a fabulous spot, often bathed in late afternoon sunshine, with swings, a zipline, see-saw, climbing frames and even old tractors to clamber on. It is overlooked by an outdoor cafe (check opening hours) providing drinks, snacks and ice-creams. There are rabbits, donkeys, goats, and there is also rock-climbing on the local crag in the background (contact us for equipment and instructors). The Maison de la Foret has a cafe area for drinks and snacks (check opening hours), wildlife exhibitions and its Five Senses Nature Trail with hands-on activities to borrow such as bird-whistling and learning to draw. The Nature Trail has disabled parking and is accessible to wheelchairs and children's buggies.
