Chalet Les Rhodos 7 is very popular with families, with children aged 7 and above. The apartment is on the top floor and has a great view. The stand-alone chalet is located in a wonderful position within a short distance of the ski lifts. When snow conditions allow it is possible to ski directly to the ski lifts and if you are a competent skier to ski directly back to the chalet. In summer, and in autumn, it is a perfect place for cycling, mountain biking or hiking. The balcony is private and quiet and it has an unobstructed 180 degree view (see the reviews) and when the weather is kind you can relax on the balcony all day, eating, drinking or just reading a book or browsing the Internet. you benefit from a hotel service, the beds are prepared and you have one shower towel per person.
We love the fresh mountain air and just relaxing and enjoying the wonderful scenery in this part of Switzerland. The photo is taken on the terrace of the Portes du Soleil hotel, just 15 minutes walk from my apartment.
Les Crosets is a relatively quiet village. When the snow melts it is still a pretty village, In summer and in autumn it is possible to walk for hours at 2,200 metres close to the French border and several mountain chalets are open for traditional meals and drinks. If you are looking for a break away from the crowds this could be just the place for you to relax and enjoy nature. If you need more activities then the town of Champéry is only a short drive away. There is a short cut down a narrow road directly to the town centre.
