Featuring apartments with superb views of the Matterhorn and the village, BaseCamp Apartments are elevated above Zermatt, a 10-minute walk from the town center and Gornergratbahn Cog Railway. Free Wi-Fi is provided and final cleaning fees are included. The spacious, Alpine-style apartments have a fireplace providing a cozy atmosphere. They all come with a fully equipped kitchen, cable TV and a DVD player. Freshly baked bread rolls are available on request and are delivered to your door. In summer, a popular destination is the Leisee Mountain which can be reached with the Gondola Elevator to Sunegga in 15 minutes. There you can swim, barbecue and hike. You will find a elevator 525 feet from the chalet taking you directly to a bus station and the Gondola Elevator to Sunegga. In good snow conditions, it is possible to ski from the Sunnegga-Rothorn Ski Area directly to the chalet. Supermarkets and restaurants are located in the center of town.
