Winter High Season -> 7-day rental required. --- Chalet Kiwi is situated in the heart of Grindelwald village, a 5 minute walk from the main railway station (where you can find trains to Männlichen, Kleine Scheidegg , the Jungfraujoch, ...). Walking distance to bus stops, the Sports Center with indoor swimming pool and ice rink, restaurants. The chalet is close to the Belvedere and Romantik Schweizerhof hotels, both of which offer spa facilities. Just check the map. The apartment - 101m2 or 1120 sq ft - is on two floors. The 1st floor has a living/dining room (wood burning stove is not available), an integrated kitchen, and a WC. The 2nd floor has two bedrooms, and a bathroom (shower/WC). The balcony has a view of the North Wall of the Eiger. The wood finish and beamed ceilings give the rooms a warm ambience. The bedrooms are spacious. The elegant kitchen has a granite countertop and is fully equipped. Bed linen, towels, cleaning are included in the total price. The mandatory visitors’ tax is also included (5.20 Swiss Francs/person/day; different rules apply for kids).

I live near Boston, US. But for years, my love for hiking and skiing brought me into the Swiss Alps. Finally, my wife and I have gotten an apartment in Grindelwald so that we can stay closer to these magnificent peaks of Eiger, Jungfrau, Schreckhorn etc. We spend quite some time in Grindelwald and always enjoy it; be it winter, spring or summer. Our kids and grandkids come here too.
