The most popular excursion in summer are the Klangweg, the Toggenburger Höhenweg, the Baumwipfelpfad in the Neckertal and the Chäserrugg with the summit building designed by the architects Herzog & de Meuron, from where the visitors can enjoy the view of the valley in its full splendour. In winter, Toggenburg transforms into a relaxed paradise with 60 kilometres of slopes, a large fun park and 17 modern cable cars and ski lifts, making it large enough for everyone to find their dream descent into happiness. The 5-room holiday home is located in the Wildhaus district of Steinrüti on the ""Mittelweg"" and is close to Hotel Hirschen and Spar supermarket (approx. 400m). It is situated on a slope and offers a wonderful view of the Churfirsten mountain range. In summer, the garden including a fire pit invites you to barbecue. In winter, you can reach the village center (Dorfplatz) in about 5 minutes, from where you can easily take the ski bus to the valley station of the cable cars. In the basement, there is a laundry and storage room, including a washing machine, dryer, and separate toilet. The double bedroom, which was also previously located in the basement, has been moved to the attic. The room in the basement has been converted into a cool playroom with many toys and entertainment electronics. The holiday home was generously renovated in 2010. The remaining living area, including a children's bedroom, is located on the upper floor. The house with a chalet character is ideal for families, whether in winter or summer. No direct access: The path to the house leads through a meadow (approx. 50m), which is mowed in summer and cleared in winter. You can load your luggage directly on the ""Mittelweg"". Parking is available at the multipurpose hall ""Chuchitobel"". You will receive detailed information before arrival. Arrival in winter on snow-covered roads: Please make sure that your car has all-wheel drive or snow chains. The path to the property is relatively steep. Ask about the conditions at the key handover. Although the road is regularly cleared, access cannot be guaranteed in heavy snowfall. If this is the case, you can load your luggage at the village square and reach the house via the ""Mittelweg"" (approx. 5 minutes on foot).
