The apartment is situated in the beautiful village of Tasch. There is a free car parking space and free Wi-Fi . The village has a beginner ski slope in Winter and has a beautiful lake for water sports in Summer. It is a great starting point for hiking or just admiring the beautiful country side and nature. There is a Coop and Migros in Tasch where you can buy supplies. The apartment is an easy walk to the train station and the one stop shuttle train to Zermatt, famous for the Matterhorn, and fantastic skiing Winter and Summer ! Zermatt is recognised as one of the best ski resorts in the World. Zermatt has an ice rink in the Winter months and tennis courts in the Summer months. Many amazing shops if you feel like splashing out on a designer watch or clothing! Bars , restaurants to suit all tastes and budgets. For more information about this area visit the Zermatt Tourist Information Website. You will not be disappointed by the village of Tasch or Zermatt. There is no driving in Zermatt, there is a bus that runs around the village and small electric taxis. All vehicles must remain in Tasch. Car parking at the apartment saves time and money if you are arriving by car.
I have been the owner of the apartment for many years, however, only recently decided to do holiday lets via Bookings. Because I am based in the UK I have a very efficient manager in Tasch. The manager will be in touch before check in to help out with any questions and key collection. Likewise you can message me direct via bookings if you require any help or information. Tasch is a beautiful village where I have enjoyed many family holidays. My children have all learnt to ski in Tasch and of course Zermatt. As a ski resort it is extremely efficient and well run. Every year they increase and improve the infrastructure of the ski resort. I visit the resort at least three times a year. Sometimes we drive as a family from the UK. However flights to Geneva or Milan and an easy train journey or car hire are all good option.
Tasch is a small village. It is just an 8 minute train journey from Zermatt. The train service runs every 20 minutes to and from Tasch-Zermatt. There is a Coop and Migros in Tasch to buy everything you need. Saas-Fee is an easy train journey or car drive away. Randa the village below Tasch has a golf course.
