The family-run 3-star superior Hotel Edelweiss in car-free Mürren enjoys a scenic location on the edge of the Mürrenfluh rock face, offering panoramic views of the Eiger, Mönch and Jungfrau mountains and over the Lauterbrunnen valley. Various shops as well as the Mürren Train Station are just a 3-minute walk away. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Opened in 1927 as the first flat-roofed building in the Swiss Alps, the Edelweiss hotel's rooms come with a TV and a private bathroom. In the common room you can take advantage of a printer, magazines, board games and books. Every morning you can enjoy a rich buffet breakfast. Half board is available as well and the à-la-carte-Restaurant offers traditional Swiss cuisine and home-made pizza. A pick-up service from the Mürren train or cable car station is available on request.
