“If you are skiing, the private platform for the gornergrat rail is absolutely stellar for getting you to the slope. You can almost fall out of bed onto the train and end up at the top of the mountain before anyone else.”

The Legendär enjoys an unusual location overlooking Zermatt, accessible via the Gornergrat train (Legendär stop) or on foot via a pedestrian path in just 10 minutes. That’s mean: - Direct ski from Legendär train stop to Gornergrat at an altitude of 3,089 m (depending on ski area timetable) - Awesome view on Zermatt and Matterhorn (depending on apartment) - Access to Legendär only by Gornergrat or pedestrian path (no taxi)
