Spacious chalet apartment in a quiet area of Zermatt, only 150m from the main ski lift. Huge balcony & perfect Matterhorn view. 360 degree views. 115m² apartment consists of 2 double rooms (1 en-suite), and one large bunk room, plus a large sofa bed. Apartment is in Winkelmatten area of Zermatt (c.10 minute walk to the train station). THE place to stay for an amazing view of the Matterhorn. Price includes all linen, tourist taxes etc. We can usually facilitate early check-in or late check-out (for example if you want to ski/explore on your arrival or departure day) as we have a lockable ski room for luggage storage - just ask us for more details.
We're super keen skiers living in one of the most awesome ski resorts in the world. We're here for the skiing, so don't spend much time at home during the day! Our evenings are mainly pretty chilled out too, but there's definitely a lively nightlife in town if that's your thing. Zermatt has everything from gnarly steep skiing to mellow tree runs, so it suits just about everyone from relative novices through to pros. Our apartment is right at the bottom of one of the village runs and has its own ski/boot room. We're not based in Zermatt during the summer, but are always available on e-mail/phone to answer any queries - so just drop us a message! Our local agent looks after any needs whilst you're there.
Winkelmatten is known as the 'Beverley Hills' of Zermatt, and rightly so! You'll really appreciate the quiet location and beautiful views of the Matterhorn. The village center is a short walk away for groceries, and there's a bus service that runs to this area of the village. There are a handful of restaurants in Winkelmatten itself - try the Sonnmatten or Waldstube for some great food, or stroll up the hill to restaurant Alm for an amazing chalet in secluded woods. There's an electric bus stop just 25m away, but nowhere's really too far to walk to in Zermatt. There are also taxis available at the train station to bring you up to the apartment on arrival.
