Hereby we kindly want to inform you about the fact that Chalet Ried is located directly at the ski slopes which means it is only accessible by skiing or snowboarding. There is the possibility to arrange you a transfer to Chalet Ried by Skidoo but only before or after the operating time of the Ski Resort Zermatt. This means in detail that we can organize you a transfer to chalet Ried before 08:30 am or after 16:40 pm. Chalet Ried is a Ski Hut located on the valley run to Zermatt, approximately 5 minutes downhill by Ski or half an hour walking, Chalet Ried has a breathtaking View of the Matterhorn and is a calm place after and before operating time, after 4pm the Restaurant and Bar of the Chalet is closed and Chalet Ried transforms into a charming quiet paradise in between the magnificent alpine area of Zermatt.
