Bürgenstock Hotels & Resorts - Pension Taverne 1879 is set on the Bürgenberg mountain, 1476 feet above Lake Lucerne in the canton of Nidwalden near Lucerne in the Bürgenstock Resort. All Alpine chalet- style rooms are fitted with a flat-screen TV, free WiFi, an iPod docking station, and a modern bathroom with a shower and a hairdryer. The resort offers 10 restaurants with terraces and panoramic views of the lake and the mountains. The Bürgenstock Alpine Spa as well as the Waldhotel Spa is available for all Taverne 1879 guests for a surcharge.
