For 150 years, Toggenburg has been known as an idyllic world for hiking enthusiasts, nature lovers, winter sports fans and those seeking relaxation. Here, in the small but beautiful high valley between the Säntis and the seven Churfirsten peaks, nature remains untouched, lifestyle is relaxed and there is is an abundance of traditons. The most popular excursion in summer are the Klangweg, the Toggenburger Höhenweg, the Baumwipfelpfad in the Neckertal and the Chäserrugg with the summit building designed by the architects Herzog & de Meuron, from where the visitors can enjoy the view of the valley in its full splendour. In winter, Toggenburg transforms into a relaxed paradise with 60 kilometres of slopes, a large fun park and 17 modern cable cars and ski lifts, making it large enough for everyone to find their dream descent into happiness. The holiday home "Sigerst" is one of the original Toggenburg houses. It has been lovingly and consciously renovated to the value of the old property. A particularly charming holiday home - perfect for people looking for silence and families. The property is situated in the middle of nature and is surrounded by green areas and playgrounds for children. As a highlight there is a hotpot in the garden. You will also find a trampoline and a barbecue area. The house is heated with wood and a solar system. The car park is about 200m above the house. A direct access to the house is not possible in summer and winter. A steep footpath leads down to the house. The house and the path to the house are not suitable for people with walking disabilities. The kitchen is equipped with all modern conveniences, such as a glass ceramic cooker, a refrigerator and a generous amount of furniture. The house is spacious and has many rooms and has a bathroom with toilet, shower and washbasin. The entrance area and the bathroom were newly built in autumn 2018. In early summer 2020 the house was extended by a separate toilet with washbasin.
