Stadel Alpenstern – A traditional barn reinterpreted The Stadel Alpenstern is a former traditional Valais barn that has been converted into a modern holiday home by Mabeo GmbH. The aim was to preserve the historic charm of the building while offering contemporary comfort. Natural materials such as wood and stone were used in the conversion, combined with modern interior design. A particular highlight is the private wellness area with sauna and whirlpool, which provides relaxation after a day in the mountains. The holiday home can accommodate 6–8 people and is ideal for families, friends or couples. Its central location in Blitzingen makes it the perfect starting point for hiking, biking, cross-country skiing and downhill skiing. The Stadel Alpenstern is an ideal starting point for exploring the Goms holiday region and the Aletsch Arena. Cycling and hiking tours are available in the immediate vicinity, and the entrance to the Goms cross-country ski trail is about a 10-minute walk away in the village of Blitzingen. The Aletsch Arena with the Aletsch Glacier and the extensive skiing and hiking area is easily accessible in 15 minutes by car.
