Avaiki Nui is newly built, with an open-plan layout, seamlessly blending indoor and outdoor living, creating a harmonious connection with nature that will leave you feeling rejuvenated and inspired. The entire Villa and Pool are yours during your stay, with a private parking space. Rarotonga is a humid and tropical natural environment with lots of greenery. Geckos & insects are endemic to the Island. Even though gentle pests controls are regularly operated at the property, some encounters may occur.
Originally from the Cook Islands, but now residing in Asia for the last two decades, Avaiki Nui Villa is our ultimate escape, from the demands and stresses of city life. We needed somewhere to unwind and recharge… We are delighted to share this secret of ours with you and hope you enjoy all the spoils of Avaiki Nui. Although I am not based on Rarotonga, our resident staff member Elis, lives onsite at the back of the property and is available if you have any enquires or require any assistance during your stay.
Avaiki Nui is tucked away in the village of Nikao, on the Northern side of Rarotonga, between the Airport and the hills within a short drive from the Punanga Nui Market, and the ever so popular Social Centre Beach. Other attractions nearby: *The Rarotonga Golf Course *Black Rock Beach. *Punanga Nui Markets. Cafes and Restaurants: *Antipodes Restaurant *Beluga *Bite-Time Cafe *Coocktails *Vaianas for the ever so popular fire dance and cocktails. *Trader Jacks for signature Ikamata, sashimi, and their Catch of the Day (my favourite fish choice, Mahi Mahi).
