Hi there! I’m Zhuning, and I’ve been working in the hospitality and guesthouse industry for over a decade. Originally born in Shaanxi, I graduated from university in Beijing and spent nearly 10 years climbing the corporate ladder at big companies across Beijing, Shanghai, and Shenzhen. Eventually, I decided to leave it all behind and moved to Guilin and Yangshuo. Starting with a youth hostel, I’ve welcomed countless guests from every corner of the world. I’m also an avid traveler myself—I've explored almost every part of China and Southeast Asia, traveled to Europe three times, and visited Australia twice. Today, I’ve happily settled down in Jiwodu, a cozy little mountain village in Yangshuo. I share my life with two adorable cats, spending my days watering flowers and growing vegetables in my little garden, and whipping up all kinds of treats in my rustic country kitchen. I love rock climbing, swimming, and cycling through the countryside to discover Yangshuo’s hidden gems. Taking care of this little old house with all my heart is my true passion.

This boutique guesthouse was thoughtfully transformed over 11 months from a traditional, local Guilin rammed-earth house.
