The Village Inn family originates from the surrounding villages, bringing with us the local charm and traditional hospitality of Yangshuo China. For the last 10 years, led by American designer Chris Barclay, Resident Managers Anna Li and Gloria Yu, we continuously learn about western guest expectations and how to exceed them. In addition to learning English and hospitality management, we share a commitment to learning about the interests of our guests, and introducing them to the unique culture of Yangshuo.

Our Concept Yangshuo Village Inn was conceived as a boutique Yangshuoguesthouse, focusing on traditional design, tailored service and authentic experience. Incorporating an ancient pomelo grove and a mudbrick farmhouse, we cut nearby bamboo to make our room furnishings and collected antiques from the Guilin Fish & Bird Market. We have always been a family run inn, and the owners still live next door. We believe in the importance of localhood, both in our staff, food and our treating guests as our own family. We are in Moon Hill Village, close to caves, trails and nice bike rides. The local people are friendly and there are also small shops in the village to buy snacks and drinks.
