The cottages are located in a rural area within a lot of tropical plants and trees. (Distance to town approx. 9 km). It is just perfect for people seeking for peace in an almost noiseless area. Why "almost"? Don't forget that you are in the Caribbean, where music and celebrations are important. We cannot avoid if the neighbourhood is celebrating sometimes! It is perfect for families with children, who will have enough playing space. It is quite near to beaches. The property is fenced, which gives you a kind of security. Public busses carry you nearly everywhere. Our local administrator and the owner are open for any request, concern, question you might raise. We would appreciate if you could read carefully the "House Rules" and apply them for your own benefits and for the island and its environment, which is an important concern. But also other relevant information of the platform are important for you to read. Applying the house rules is where you can also do your contribution. Upon your arrival our local administrator will give you an introduction of some essential issues. Our WIFI is quite good and sufficient for home office.

I have lived more than 25 years on San Andrés Island. My children and myself are in our house several times a year. I worked for an INGO in Germany and from here I love to keep in contact with guests via cyber space!

You are in San Luis, in the middle of the nature, surrounded by a nice neighbourhood. It is quite near to beaches; a bus stop is right in front of the house/apartment. The busses are driving until 8.30 pm. An option for an easy transportation could be the renting of a scooter. It is also possible to rent bikes in the neighbourhood. A small and medium size supermarket is also near. It is a quiet area, just perfect if you do not need necessarily to party every night. A typical reggae bar is located approx. 2 km of distance. At the entrance of Tom Hooker you can find a nice vegetarian restaurant. Reservations are necessary. We wish to mention that the internet on the island is very poor, which also affects our area. Apologies for this.
