Located atop a majestic village amid the mountains is Casa Bartzis. Take Costa Rican culture while relaxing in a newly built cottage with all city amenities (20/8 Mbps Wifi), located on a working coffee farm. Enjoy peaceful days surrounded by stunning views. This vacation property is perfect for the active adventurer or avid relaxer. Enjoy your vacation, taking in surrounding attractions such as the Lankester Gardens, Irazu Volcano, the National Park of Tapanti, and the historic city of Orosi, to name a few. The property is 7km from Cartago, which was once the capital city of Costa Rica. Take in a typical Costa Rican town complete with Markets, Churches and bustling activity and then retreat to your Oasis in the mountains.
I was born in Costa Rica but moved to Canada more than 30 years ago. I am a Food Scientist and work as Product Development in the Bakery Industry. My husband was born in Greece and also moved to Canada when he was a teenager. He owned several restaurants in the Toronto area. One of our sons built this vacation home for us. We have five grandchildren of our two sons. All live in Toronto. We plan, once we are retired, to expend the cold winters months of Canada in this vacation home.
The house is in a coffee farm, surrounded by gardens and cultivated land. It is close to a village where many of the local workers live. From the house you can enjoy an amazing mountains view and have a peaceful contact with Costa Rica's nature The weather is unbeatable with warm days and cooler nights for a comfortable stay.
