Ideally located between the beach (0.5 mile) and the small town center of Marbella (0.7 mile), our fully equipped guest house will connect you with its natural surroundings and wildlife. The Frijolar guest house is part the "Casas Guanacaste" property, as well as 2 more guest houses and the owners house. Maria, my Costa-Rican wife from Marbella and I, Cedric, from France, live at the back of the 5000 m² property, and will be there to help you with anything you might need.

Marbella is a small town of Guanacaste, of about 300 people, with only a few foreigners living there all year round. Here we enjoy the Pacific ocean, with one of the most consistent beach break of Guanacaste. The wildlife, with howler monkeys, turtles, birds and many other species is truly exceptional. The environmentalist association "Marbella Verde" has been created to take care of Marbella Fauna and Flora. In the rainy season, the town is very quiet, with only a couple of restaurants open all year round for the locals. In the dry season - December to June, there is now a greater choice for accommodation and restaurants, with local Sodas (900m away), the Marbella Surf Inn and its beautiful rancho and swimming pool (600m away), as well as the newly opened Argentinian Parilla "los sueños de Ramona" (200m away from us).
