El Delfin is one of four villas in the Surfside Potrero beach town area that share a private garden, pool/spa and the gated secure area. You are just a two minute walk to the calm waters of Playa Potrero. The main floor has the living, dinning, kitchen and laundry areas with two outdoor terrace areas where you can sit, dine or sleep in comfortable hammocks. The 2 bathrooms and the bedrooms are on the upper floor accessed via a unique spiral staircase.. Each bedroom has a private sundeck. The master bedroom also has 14 foot high double sliding glass doors and a Murphy bunk bed for kids. Within the Stef Surf villas you'll see iguanas, geckos, butterflies, and hummingbirds visiting the tropical garden just outside El Delfin. At night the boardwalk in the garden is lit for a quiet and secluded getaway. This is a perfect "base" location should you want more activities, you have over a dozen local restaurants/bars in the surrounding town of Surfside Potrero and the local marina at Playa Flamingo. Within 30 minutes or so, are the towns of Tamarindo for surfing and more nightlife or to Las Catalinas for a Mediterranean style town with fine dining options.
Whether you are wanting a peaceful "getaway" or an exciting outdoor adventure, El Delfin in Surfside Potrero is in an excellent location. Walkable or short drive locations include multiple beaches (with different types of sand, waves, and activities), along with a world class marina, shopping areas, golf, zip-line, horseback riding, scuba, fishing, turtle watching, hiking, waterfalls and national park areas.
