Here in the Costa Rican jungle, we have designed a destination for the guest who welcomes an authentic experience. The adventure begins as you find your way to the property, where the roads have no names. The exotic sounds of the jungle will surprise you, and the ocean is just a short distance away. Guests will enjoy their own Cabina, complete with covered terrace, kitchenette and ensuite. Lounge by the pool and dine at the communal Rancho with fellow guests.

Welcome to The Sutton in Costa Ballena. Costa Ballena is a 35km stretch of coastline in Costa Rica's South Pacific where the ocean meets the mountains. We are located on the Playa Hermosa de Osa mountain, approximately 3 minutes from the main road and the ocean. Playa Hermosa is conveniently nestled between Dominical and Uvita. Dominical is a laid back, beachside surf town surrounded by shops, restaurants, bars and hosts an outdoor vendor market. Uvita is the hub of the Costa Ballena area where you will find supermarkets, banks, medical centers along with dining options to suit all tastes.
