Villas Serenidad is a spectacular oceanfront property, which consists of several cottages and a larger home. Stay in one of our smaller cottages for a romantic getaway; enjoy our 3-bedroom main house with the families; or enjoy the entire property which is ideal for family reunions, special birthday celebrations, retreats, or girlfriend-getaways. We are one of our few properties along the coast that is directly on the beach, only separated by a beautiful jungle garden. It is the ideal place to watch the waves, relax in a hammock, or simply put your toes in the sand. We offer luxurious and spacious bedrooms, high ceilings and full baths with modern amenities. The ocean view cottages and main house have stunning views of the Caribbean Ocean. Villas Serenidad is ideally located Playa Negra, about a 15-minute walk (by beach) to the authentic and bohemian town of Puerto Viejo, where you’ll find delicious restaurants, charming shops, and local artisans, When you’re not hanging out in the home or relaxing on your (almost private) beach right in front, you’ll be choosing from many activities in the area.

When you’re not hanging out in the home or relaxing on your (almost private) beach right in front, you’ll be choosing from many activities in the area.  From surfing, hiking in the jungle, kayaking, paddle boarding or exploring nature, this area truly has it all. The Jaguar Rescue Center, Manzanillo Nature Reserve, and Cahuita National Park are within 20-30 minutes away (by car); yoga studios abound (including one about 5 minutes from our house or we can arrange for a private teacher to come to our gardens); and for the more adventurous traveler, it’s not far to zipline through the jungle treetops.
