Hi, my name is Nuno and together with Sonia I'm happy to host you here in the valley of Paul. I'm the owner of this beautiful house surrounded by the mountains that come down from the Cova crater. Sonia works with me to make sure guests are well taken care of. She's well known for making guests happy with her delicious breakfast.

Welcome to the new and improved Wahnon Guesthouse. After receiving many, many guests from around the world, I've taken action on the most important comment from guests. There is now both WiFi and hot water for all rooms, and I've added new room options as well. You can now book with and without a private bathroom.
Our house is an old colonial style building in the valley of Paul, location Eito. We have a beautiful large garden where you can enjoy a good book, or rest from a wonderful hike. You can reach us from Porto Novo by taking a Hiace/Aluguer to Paúl. Ask your driver to take you to the Wahnon Guesthouse. This way you avoid having to stop in Pombas to get on another Aluguer. The drive from Porto Novo takes about 35 minutes, and costs CVE 350.
Neighborhood info
Eito is the first village you encounter, arriving from Pombas. It is the last village befor Pombas, if you're coming all the way down from the Cova crater. This is a surrounding which is perfect for hiking. Next to the trails near our house, you can also enjoy hikes in other parts of Santo Antão by using public transportation. Because of the location of our house, about 20 minutes from Pombas, we offer meals to our guests for an additional fee. Please ask about our meals upon arrival.
