Location is good and quiet. Nice view and the whole garden is beautiful.

Walhalla Sea Lodge is in a beautiful, peaceful location with stunning views. The design is impeccable- looks like it came from an architectural magazine. Bed is comfortable, shower was incredible overlooking the sea, and water pressure was good . I also want to mention that one of the women working there was very kind and welcoming (wish I remembered her name). She allowed me a late checkout, which I really appreciated and made my departure much easier.

Great location to start the walk to Fonteinhas and Cruzinha. I really enjoyed the vibe in Ponta do Sol. Nice bars and restaurants. Very chill place. We had a nice room with fantastic views.

Friendly owner, quick check-in, clean, spacious, good wifi, all amenities were working, comfortable, and nice breakfast included.

We loved the location, as we were able to do two excellent hikes. (One from the hotel, Boca de Figueiral to Cha de Padre Cima, which we highly recommend. We also hiked to the crater. ) The restaurant was wonderful, we enjoyed the. vegan offerings on several nights. Breakfast was ample and delicious. The staff were exceptional, answering every question and assisting with any requests. We highly recommend this hotel.

Outstanding place! The location, the view, the swimming pool. The decoration is so beautiful as well. The hosts were amazing, very caring. Prepared dinner for the guests every night, plus a delicious breakfast. It's a very special place, one of a kind. Honestly you are in for a treat.

Fantastic views, fantastic scenery, exceptional hosting form the owner Martini and the whole staff. They are kind helpful and you can have an excellent socialising if you fancy in the evening. The fact they have a dog and two cats on the property to offer their positive attitude is even better.

This is a lovely hotel. The staff are kind and helpful and really enjoyable to chat to. The room was impeccably clean. I lost an earplug and looked hard for it under the bed and all around and everything was so clean. The breakfast was local, healthy, and delicious. I would recommend this to anyone.

The family running the hotel were so wonderful- they were smiley and helpful, helping us to book taxis, giving us advice about hikes & transport. When accommodation at our next place didn't work out they happily allowed us to stay another 2 nights. The views over the mountains, tropical plants & coast are breathtaking, and the inner garden courtyard where the rooms face is full of banana & breadfruit trees as well as tropical flowers. The breakfast is big & varied day by day- the view from the breakfast roof terrace room is stunning. They gave us tinfoil to take the sandwiches we had made from breakfast on our hike with us.

I have no words to describe how much I loved this place. I felt instantly at home and I could have stayed for a whole month without getting bored. It’s incredibly comfortable, clean and well located. The food is delicious. The owner helped us plan our days with amazing tips and the animals just wanted to cuddle whenever given a chance. I have to come back!

Spacious room, with private balcony, wifi and breakfast. It was exactly what we needed.

I really liked the location of the property. It was in a valley in the mountains. But easily accessible by bus to the neighbouring city. About 15 min. Lots of hiking trails near by. Quiet area and full of nature
