While relaxing and enjoying the tranquility, you can hear the birds chirping and the river Setrachos flowing all year round; smell bread, tahini pies and cookies baking at the village bakery; gaze at the starlight sky and feel the clean, crisp air on your face.

During the winter months skiing on the Troodos ski slopes is definitely an added benefit. This can be your launching pad for active adventures, religious tourism or simply a place to escape to and disconnect. In the area you can find a plethora of cultural and religious points of interest. The Painted Churches in the Troodos region is a World Heritage site; it comprises ten rural churches and monasteries built on the Troodos mountains from the 11th to the 16th century. Panayia tou Moutoulla church is visible from our balcony and St. John Lampadistis Monastery in Kalopanayiotis is within walking distance. There are also a number of well-known orthodox monasteries which are a pleasant drive away: Kykkos Monastery, Trooditissa Monastery and Trikoukia Monastery.
