PITHARIA in Askas is a restored, stone-built, traditional, agro-tourism residence consisting of four suites. Each one has its own character and history. It is located in the core of Aska village. The jars located next to the wine cellar testify that the family was engaged in the cultivation of grapes and wine. It was the meeting place of the family of their friends and relatives where they gatherednext to the fireplace to warm up and talk about the various problems that concerned them. All the villagers had helped to build the house which is over 400 years old. There was no road (passage) so it was very difficult to build. This space was used for many activities. It is one of the few houses in the village that still has the linos (small wine press) for pressing the grapes. Also here is the old tub where women used to wash their clothes. One can still see the small tools used by the village carpenter. Finally, the rich family of the house lived in the solar house.
