About this space: Living in Cyprus mountain Village, Selin the stone house in Foini village by Athos pilavakis interiors - This 157 year old house takes a total transformation of the classic form of the dwellings around the villages of trodos area, but also includes contemporary finishes and details of today's. The space: Selin the stonehouse is a renovated house approximately 157 years old, the ground floor area use to be tge coffee shop and the post office of the village, first floor area was a residential property with an in/out garden patio. Guest access: Guest can access all areas
Staying with us is like staying with friends or family. This is not a hotel, glamp-ground, or a bed and breakfast. Selin the stone house is a home, your home! Our quest can contact us 24/7 for any emergencies might have or any information might needed.
Where you’ll be: Foini, Limassol, Cyprus life is simple, sustainable, less polluted while the people are simple and sometimes conservative. But it is also very cheap, stone houses, people are friendly and more wildlife. For example, I used to find snakes, fish in the river, etc all around my grandparents’s village. At night there is no sound. The village had a local shop which would have basic needs stuff. There are 3 restaurants near by home and various cultivations of fields surrounding the village, including olivetrees, cherry's, grapes etc. We used to play out in the fields where our parents would tell us to be wary of snakes. After a long day of playing out in the fields, we would shower in a small tube-well with fresh water out of earth’s surface.
