The Apartments Emma are situated in a quiet street in the centre of Prague, mere 5 minutes from the Congress Centre, right beneath the outer walls of the national monument Vysehrad. Karlovo namesti (Charles Square) is only 5 minutes far from the apartments. Vaclavske namesti (Wenceslas Square) and Karluv most (the Charles Bridge) are 10 minutes far from the apartments as well as the Stare Mesto (the Old Town district) and Staromestske namesti (Old Town Square). The Main Station is 15 minutes far from the apartments. We offer stylish apartments, each having a bathroom with a bath or a shower bath, a toilette, a hairdryer and a kitchen unit with pots & pans and tableware. Car parking is possible inside the house for a fee, parking reservation is required. There are so many reasons to visit this part of Prague and we very much want to play our part, firstly in attracting you to come here and secondly in ensuring that you enjoy your stay to the full.

Our house was builded by our great-grandfather Antonin Babicka in 1902, who was a master baker. The bakery was situated in the courtyard building of the house, and in the ground floor was to the street the bakery shop. The family lost the house during the communism when it was nationalized. The comeback of democracy to our country was also time of return of our house to our family in the restitution. After many years of repairs and reconstructions is our house again in good condition. Naturally we’ve tried to make sure that everything has been brought up to the level that you would expect of a comfortable accommodation, whilst retaining the character of the original historic building. The house has 2 new attic apartments, where part of our family lives. All other apartments and studios are after general reconstruction. In the future we would like to make a reconstruction of the courtyard building, and take care very well about our apartments. In the year 2022 is our house celebrating 120 years.

Vyšehrad is only a few minutes away from us, on the way there and back I recommend visiting the restaurant "U Kroka". The Prague Congress Center is a 10-minute walk away and only a 5-minute walk away. Albertov, Ztracenka, the Botanical Garden, Cubist houses, the Nussel Bridge and the Na Fidlovačce Theater are only a few steps away.
