Stylish cottage with garden and swimming pool, situated at the edge of a small village in beautiful countryside. Its strategic position offers easy access to both the Český ráj area and the Krkonoše mountain range. The cottage was renovated recently to a high standard, whilst keeping some of the original and traditional charm of this 200 year old property.
Hi, my name is Paul and I am originally from England. I come from a hospitality background and have had the pleasure of serving guests from all walks of life, but in particular, the British royal family, heads of state and other well-known public figures. My wife Monika is from the Czech Republic and was originally trained as an actress, but worked mainly in the training and sales side of the fashion industry. After several years in Prague, we decided to move away from the city to fulfill our long term dream to open a family business in the countryside. We have been living here in Nová Ves nad Popelkou since 2015, along with our sons Oscar and Oliver and our mad, but lovable rescue dog Barney. We enjoy a relaxed and peaceful life here in the stunning countryside and hope that you stay with us to experience the same. We look forward to welcoming you!
Nova Ves nad Popelkou is a small village of around 650 inhabitants. It offers a convenience store, post office, pub and a church. The closest town is Lomnice nad Popelkou (3km away) where you can find a selection of amenities including restaurants, shops, pubs, banks and a pharmacy. The cottage is set in lovely countryside, which is ideal for country walks, cycle rides, winter sports, landscape painting and photography.
