The chalet stands on a large area of privately-owned land near a forest on the outskirts of Dolní Maxov. The location is ideal for visiting the surrounding mountain resorts (Bukovka, Tanvaldský špičák, Bedřichov), while there is also room for quieter activities, as the area is not particularly busy.
