Our renovated half-timbered house is located in historical village named Jítrava, and befor year 1945 named Deutsche Pankraz, in northern Bohemia, in the Liberec region. It is an area where the Ještěd Ridge gradually transitions into the relief of the Lusatian Mountains. It lies below the Ještěd-Kozák ridge on the upper reaches of the Panenský stream, about 2.5 kilometers northeast of Rynoltice. Vápenný (790 m) is a hill in the Ještěd Ridge, which contains richly decorated limestone caves, the largest of which is the West Cave. These caves, which are not accessible to the public, are a nesting place for bats and, together with natural beech forest communities, are protected as the Velký Vápenný nature reserve. Ještěd (1012 m above sea level) (German: Jeschken or Jeschkenkoppe, Polish: Jeszted or Jesztěd) is a mountain in the northern Czech Republic, southwest of Liberec, the highest peak of the Ještěd-Kozákov Ridge.
