My name is Michal Zídek and I am the owner of the family-run Penzion Quest in the historic town of Loket. I focus on a personal approach to every guest and I am always happy to help with planning trips around Loket, the Karlovy Vary region and the surrounding nature of the Slavkov Forest. I will gladly recommend interesting places to visit, restaurants and trips in the area. Guests can also use our bicycle rental including children’s bikes, and we also offer boat rentals.

We offer comfortable and quiet accommodation in a friendly atmosphere. The guesthouse has 8 rooms and is an ideal place for guests who want to explore the beauty of the Karlovy Vary region, the nature of the Slavkov Forest, or the spa town of Karlovy Vary. We are happy to help you with tips for trips around Loket and the surrounding area and recommend restaurants and interesting places worth visiting.

Neighborhood info

Penzion Quest is located directly in the historic centre of Loket. The famous Black Tower is only about 50 metres from the guesthouse, and Loket Castle as well as the main square in the pedestrian zone are about 300 metres away. Loket is one of the most picturesque historic towns in the Czech Republic, offering charming narrow streets, restaurants, cafés and the unique atmosphere of a medieval town. Just a minute’s walk from the guesthouse flows the Ohře River, where guests can enjoy water activities or paddleboarding. A newly opened cycling path also runs directly below the garden of the guesthouse, perfect for bike trips along the river. The famous spa city of Karlovy Vary is only about 15 minutes away by car. Nature lovers can also explore the beautiful landscape of the protected area Slavkovský les, which offers many hiking and cycling routes.
