Nature lovers, sports enthusiasts, people seeking peace and quiet and those interested in culture can all find something to suit them. You`ll find on the raised ground floor of the Building which is located next to the old Monastry. It is an ideal starting point for any activities in the area of the southern Harz Mountains. Completely refurbished in 2015 and newly equipped in 2016 it offers a modern living for 2 on arround 40 m². A king size Bed, a Tub, 40" Smart-TV and WiFi are included, just as bed linen and towels.
Since 2010 we own the "old distillery", how the Building is called by the locals. Since then we are permanently improving our House step by step to bring it back to its old Beauty. "We" means Ilona and Christian. Our House is one of our Hobbys, next to Sailing and Travelling. Sometimes we can be found on historic markets and reenactment events.
The direct vicinity consists mainly of the former Monastry and its surroundings including the ruin of the old cathedral. Out through the archway You`ll find all the supplys youll need. It takes a 10 minute Walk to reach the Train station. The nearest Citys are Bad Sachsa and Nordhausen.
