I am Steffi – a host with a heart, great attention to detail, and a passion for travel. I have been living in the Allgäu since 2012 and have not only found my center of life here, but also my home. With Berg Fux, I have fulfilled a long-cherished dream: to create a vacation accommodation that is more than just a vacation spot – a retreat where worries fade away and relaxation comes naturally.
What makes Berg Fux special is the personal service. I deliberately take care of everything myself: from booking and communicating with my guests to billing and on-site management. This way, I know that everything is in order at all times – and my guests feel this care from the very first contact. Upon request, I will be happy to welcome you personally upon your arrival. For those who prefer flexibility, there is an uncomplicated arrival option via a key safe.
Having spent several years in the USA, I speak fluent German and English and look forward to welcoming guests from all over the world to Berg Fux in the Allgäu region. Many of my guests appreciate this combination of warmth, tranquility, and reliability. Quite a few come back again and again—some have been visiting Berg Fux for years and have become friends over time.
For me, being a host means creating a place where people feel truly at home: relaxing holidays, peaceful evenings, time for nature, mountains, and yourself. Whether it's a short break, a longer stay, or a conscious time-out – at Berg Fux, you should feel well looked after from the moment you arrive.

At Berg Fux, you can expect an alpine feel-good atmosphere, combined with exclusive amenities and an unobstructed view of the Allgäu Alps. Quietly located yet well connected, you can reach the town center in just about 15 minutes on foot. This allows you to enjoy the proximity to nature without having to sacrifice comfort or short distances.
Everything you need for a relaxing stay can be found on site: fully equipped kitchens including a coffee machine and free coffee for the entire duration of your stay, cozy living areas to relax in, comfortable beds, fast Wi-Fi, and balconies or terraces with fantastic mountain views. Here, relaxation comes naturally.

Berg Fux is located on the quiet outskirts of Sonthofen – pleasantly secluded yet central. Thanks to good local and long-distance public transport connections, you can reach your holiday destination in a relaxed and uncomplicated manner. Here you can enjoy the tranquility of nature without having to sacrifice convenience.
The ideal location for active holidays is particularly appreciated: numerous mountain railways and idyllic mountain lakes can be reached in just a few minutes by car. Walking, hiking, and cycling trails start right outside the front door and invite you to discover the Allgäu step by step. A real natural highlight is the famous Starzlachklamm gorge, which you can easily reach on foot. Cozy alpine huts and traditional places to stop for refreshments are also in the immediate vicinity – perfect for an enjoyable break with a view.
