An overview of the advantages of our accommodation: If you bring bicycles or a stroller with you upon arrival, a secured storage facility is available in the accommodation at no extra charge. Should you, despite the extensive offerings in the surrounding area, sometimes wish to stay in the accommodation, a TV, books, and board games are available for entertainment. And if you sometimes do not want to eat out, a stove, oven, microwave, and an outdoor grill are available for your use. To make packing easier for you, we provide one set of bed linen "pillowcase and duvet cover" and one set of towels "towel and bath towel" per person per stay. Should you need more, both can be provided for a small additional charge of 2.- per person for towels and 3.50 per person for bed linen. It is also worth mentioning that a washing machine for washing clothing only is included in the house. Animals are welcome, and we are happy to provide a feeding and water bowl and a fabric dog bed, as well as an outdoor water connection with a hose piece for cleaning the animal. Your pet will be charged by us on-site at an additional cost of 10 per night. This will be collected on the day of arrival in cash along with the deposit and the tourist tax. Smoking of any substances is prohibited throughout the house. However, so that you do not have to give up your cigarette, an ashtray is provided for you in the outdoor area at the door.

Dear guests, I am Rüdi, husband, father, and owner of this lovingly arranged holiday home. In addition, I have been working at the post office for 46 years and have always enjoyed dealing with people. Likewise, my wife Doro, a trained florist, has contributed to the beauty of the house, as can be seen in the pictures. At the end of 2025, we initially wanted to sell the house, but due to negative experiences with potential buyers, we quickly decided to turn it into a holiday home with many advantages. My wife and I are people who love and cherish life and enjoy turning small ideas into something great. We are always supported by our children, as well as family and friends. We are a lively bunch that already looks forward to numerous different guests. As you can read, we lack neither communication nor ideas. Yet we are open to new things and always try to improve. Our lovingly prepared holiday home for wine, nature, hiking and cycling enthusiasts, as well as culture lovers, is centrally located in Lorch and away from street or railway noise. The top location offers a wide range of leisure activities. Lorch is situated between two of the most famous attractions, such as the Loreley in St. Goarshausen and the Niederwald Monument in Rüdesheim on the Rhine. Both can be reached in 15-20 minutes by car, train, or taxi. Additionally, hikers and cyclists will enjoy numerous hiking and cycling trails. It is also worth mentioning that within a radius of 1-1.5 km, everything necessary for physical well-being is available. For example, a supermarket, baker "around the corner", doctor, pharmacy, post office, as well as a gas station and numerous winemakers and wine taverns where you can buy and taste the exquisite wines of our Lorch winemakers. You can find restaurants in Lorch, as well as in the neighboring towns of Assmannshausen and Kaub. Our little guests are also well taken care of. Our playground, as well as the Red Square, invite children to move and have fun. If this is not enough, other places to visit such as indoor and outdoor playgrounds, wildlife parks, skateparks, swimming pools, and the toboggan run in St. Goarshausen can be reached by car within a radius of 15-30 km.
