Our renovated, former winegrower's house - also affectionately called "Ferienhaus Malu" by us - is located in the old town center of Bremm, a small wine-growing village on the Moselle in Rhineland-Palatinate in Germany. The history of Bremm goes back to Roman times. The picturesque landscape with its steep vineyards stretches from the slopes of the Moselle-Eifel down to the Moselle and is known for its first-class wines. In Bremm, with its many historic half-timbered houses and narrow streets, restaurants and cafés offer regional cuisine and serve Moselle wines. Wineries host wine tastings and tours of the vineyards. Bremm is a beautiful place for a relaxing holiday in the middle of an impressive landscape and a fascinating wine region. During your Moselle holiday, our Bremm holiday home is the ideal starting point for leisure activities such as hiking and cycling as well as excursions to sights such as Eltz Castle, the city of Cochem and the Moselle loop near Bremm. For us this house is a brand new project and we have tried to do everything to make you feel comfortable. We've had the idea for a holiday home for a long time, but it was only with this house that we found the right property - and fell in love straight away. The most important thing was that our children feel comfortable here, and they do too. The two are the namesakes for this house - Martha and Ludwig. On the ground floor you will find a newly renovated, small toilet (including children's potty) and the large dining-kitchen area. Here we have created seating for 8 people. We set up the kitchen according to our idea of a fully equipped kitchen. Since we are very careful that children also feel comfortable with us, you will also find appropriate crockery and a high chair for the little ones. You will also find a fully automatic coffee machine, a JBL loudspeaker (Bluetooth: dining room) and everything you need for cooking or baking. A dishwasher is of course also included. The large bathroom with shower is on the 1st floor. You are welcome to use the attached dispensers for shower gel and shampoo. The bathroom also has a changing table and a potty. Furthermore, the children and the bedroom are on this floor. Both rooms have been lovingly furnished by us and we hope that the children's room in particular will leave nothing to be desired. Here children will find play facilities, an old school desk, a small children's seating area, books and a bunk bed. Both the lower and the upper bed have a shelf and a small lamp. To darken you will find curtains in both rooms. On the 2nd floor is the living room with 2 sofas, one of which can be used as a bed and a travel cot with a mattress (but without a cover). Our television reception works via the Internet. You can stream all channels in HD. We also provide you with Netflix access free of charge, which you are welcome to use. In the cupboard under the TV you will find many board games. In the room itself there is also another box spring bed that can be separated from the rest of the room with curtains. A staircase leads to a small gallery that can be used to linger. We have installed fall arresters on the stairs.

Wine growing has a long tradition in Bremm and along the entire Moselle. The steep slopes along the Moselle offer ideal conditions for growing wine. The winegrowers in Bremm rely on traditional methods and pay attention to careful and natural cultivation of the vineyards. The harvest is mostly done by hand to preserve the quality of the grapes. The world-famous Riesling grapes are usually harvested late in order to achieve a higher concentration of aromas and acidity. The wines from Bremm are characterized by high quality and a characteristic taste, which is characterized by mineral notes and fruity aromas. You can taste the local Moselle wines at the wine festivals in Bremm and along the Moselle and enjoy the hospitable atmosphere of the Moselle region. The "Bremmer Calmont via ferrata festival" takes place every summer.
