Hello, we are Paul and Veronique. After a long search we found this beautiful place in Germany. Quiet and rural location between Gerolstein and Prüm in the beautiful Vulkaneifel. We want to explore the area even more ourselves, but we also want others to be able to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, the beautiful view and the beautiful holiday home. We have already proven that we attach great importance to hospitality when renting out our holiday bungalows in Drenthe (NL) & Kustelberg in the Sauerland, so we would now like to wish you a warm welcome to Hinterhausen near Gerolstein.

Enjoy peace, space & nature perfectly in and around our nice spot in the Eifel. New for rent from August 2024. The cozy holiday home (65m2) has been completely renovated and is ideal for 2 to 4 people. There are 3 bedrooms with 6 beds, so with a little arranging you can stay there with 6 people. The cozy furnished house has a living room with open kitchen with a beautiful view. The fireplace and the fully enclosed garden of over 600 m2 complete the party. Garden furniture is of course available, as well as a BBQ and a large sunken trampoline. For the youngest guests there is a sandbox and high chair available. The house is detached in a large enclosed garden. Thanks to the canopy you can also sit outside when it rains in the summer. Nature and Environment In the adjacent forest, which you can reach within 2 minutes walk, there are many walking and cycling routes. Plenty to do for both recreational and sporty guests. The cottage is located in the middle of the Volcanic Eifel Nature Park and Geopark, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The area is known for its clean air. Places to visit nearby are the spring water town of Gerolstein, Prüm and Daun, located on the Lieser. Other nearby places are Trier, Monschau and the more touristy Cochem on the Moselle River. At this nice spot in the Volcanic Eifel you can enjoy and play in your own garden or take a dip in the indoor swimming pool of the adjacent campsite. Sauna, mini golf, restaurant and bread service can also be found here. These facilities can be used for a fee, otherwise you will not see or notice anything of this campsite from home.

From hiking, cycling, mountain climbing, getting up close with local animals or just enjoying the wonderful peace and landscape, there is something for every holiday guest. Come and experience our eagles, the kings of the skies, or the feeding of the largest pack of wolves in Western Europe at the Kasselburg Eagle and Wolf Park. Are you more of a motorsport enthusiast and want to really experience something? Then visit the Ringboulevard and Museum on the Nürburgring Nordschleife, 30 minutes away. If you are interested in dinosaurs, the Teufelschlucht Dinosaur Park near Irrel is just the thing for you. In Darscheid, around 15 km away, the Daun Wildlife Park offers you an animal experience up close. Here you drive on a circuit that lasts around 1 hour through the enclosure and can feed wild boars, deer, llamas, alpacas, donkeys and much more from your car. Some animals can even be petted. The sights on the hills in the city area (Löwenburg ruins, Munterley and Auberg) offer visitors a panoramic view of the city and the Kyll valley. A worthwhile hiking destination is the Papenkaule volcanic crater and the nearby Buchenloch cave. There is so much to discover....
