Located in Höfen, a suburb of Monschau, in close proximity to the national park, with beautiful views of the surrounding countryside with grazing sheep. Located in a very quiet cul-de-sac with little traffic. A very modern 120m² loft apartment with natural wood parquet flooring, approx. 40m² open-plan living room with high ceilings, including flat-screen TV, balcony and additional roof terrace. Master bedroom with 160x200 double bed, flat-screen TV and separate dressing room. Bedroom with double bed (140x200) and large chest of drawers. Natural down duvets, available as single or double duvets. Possibility of an additional sleeping space in the living room. The fields and hiking trails to the Perlbachtalsperre begin just 50 meters away. There are many opportunities for short and long hikes, either in the adjacent national park, on the Eifelsteig trail, in the daffodil fields, or in the High Fens. The centre of the picturesque town of Monschau is also only a 25-minutes walk away. In winter, the unique Christmas market invites you to enjoy yourself, and in summer, the lively, cool alleys. On Advent weekends, there is also a shuttle bus to the Christmas market. The Rursee lake is only 17 km away via forest paths. By car, you can reach the centre of the beautiful city of Aachen with its famous Aachen Cathedral (UNESCO World Heritage Site) in 40 minutes. There are three restaurants in the village, a petrol station, electric car charging facilities and, from the end of the year, a supermarket.
