Our apartment Airone Nero (in German "Black Heron") offers you 60m2 with 2 rooms, your own kitchen, private bathroom and storage room (for bulky items such as bicycles) with washing machine, everything you need to go on vacation. The apartment has been used as a rental apartment since the 90s and after the purchase of the house in August 2019 converted and modernized in 100% own effort to a great holiday home for up to 4 people. It is located on the ground floor of a detached house on the outskirts of the city of Gerolstein near the main shopping street Sarresdorf. On the upper floor of the house there is a rental apartment that is lived in by permanent tenant. Parking for up to 3 cars or a larger car trailer is on private property in front of the apartment. Also in front of the apartment there is a private terrace with a grill and lawn. A large, heated play area for children is located in the main entrance area. If the weather is good, there is already a large play area on the landlord's property right next to the apartment.

As a skilled craftsman and restaurateur, we have fulfilled a dream by buying the property for the rental house and constructing a holiday apartment and lovingly and conscientiously prepared and furnished it according to our own conscience and needs. We hope we can offer you and your family a pleasant and relaxing stay in our apartment.
Gerolstein at the Kyll is a town in the Eifel in the Vulkaneifel district in Rhineland-Palatinate. It is the administrative seat of the municipality of the same name and, in terms of population, just behind the district town of Daun is the second largest municipality in the district; in terms of area, however, the largest. In the village is the beverage company Gerolsteiner Brunnen which is open from Mon-Fri. offers free guided tours of the production facility from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. daily. Gerolstein is a state-approved climatic health resort and is designated as a center in accordance with state planning.
With the beech hole and the Magdalena cave, sites from the Palaeolithic period are known from the region immediately around Gerolstein, which attest to the presence of both the Neanderthals and the first modern people.
