The holiday apartments are located in a separate building section with a private entrance. They are situated in the front part of the old town in a central location and in immediate proximity to the cycling routes. A bakery and a supermarket can be reached within a few minutes’ walk. The punt boat departure points are about a 15-minute walk away, including a stroll through the beautiful old town. All our guests receive a 20% discount for the Spreewelten swimming complex in Lübbenau with the Gäste-Card-Spreewelten.
We are the Kroyer family. Katrin Kroyer was born and raised in Lübbenau and, after meeting her husband Florian Kroyer in Berlin, decided to move back to her beautiful hometown together with him. It did not take much convincing. Together, we took over the holiday apartments from her mother Antje in 2025.
Since the mid-19th century, Lübbenau has been known as the “City of Punt Boat Rides.” The Spreewald punt boat, once essential for daily life, was first used for excursions, marking the beginning of modern tourism on the water. Today, it is an integral part of any visit to the Spreewald. In addition, Lübbenau is the birthplace of the famous "Spreewald Gurken". The fertile soil, water quality, and unique recipes have, over the centuries, turned this originally unremarkable vegetable into a successful export product that can be enjoyed daily on the Lübbenau “Gurkenmeile” during the summer. Just one punt boat ride away lies the Spreewald village of Lehde. The writer Theodor Fontane once called it “Venice in miniature,” referring to the village’s unique character, defined by a labyrinth of water channels and islands. The open-air museum in the center of the village is one of the most photographed places in the region.
