Linden-Nord wird begrenzt durch die Leine und Ihme im Norden und Osten, die Fössestraße und die Spinnereistraße im Süden sowie den Westschnellweg im Westen. Die Hauptachse des Stadtteils ist die Limmerstraße. Entlang der überwiegend als Fußgängerzone ausgewiesenen Geschäftsstraße gibt es viele Gaststätten und Läden. In einem Hinterhof befindet sich das 1908 gegründete Apollokino der Familie ter Horst, eines der ältesten Vorstadtkinos Deutschlands. In ihm begann der spätere Cinemaxx-Gründer Hans-Joachim Flebbe seine Karriere. Des Weiteren gibt es in Linden-Nord das Kulturzentrum FAUST mit dem sonntäglichen FAUST Flohmarkt und dem Bürgerfunk radio flora und das Buchdruckmuseum Hannover.
