Our lovingly and modernly furnished holiday apartment offers the perfect retreat for guests seeking relaxation. It is ideally suited for 2–3 people, and with children can comfortably accommodate up to 4 guests. Steibis delights visitors with its quiet location while still offering good local infrastructure: an excellent cheese dairy and the village shop (also open on Sunday mornings) are located directly in the village. Thanks to the regular local bus service, Oberstaufen can be reached easily. From there, there are train connections to destinations including Lindau, Kempten, Oberstdorf, and Munich. In summer, the terrace and private sunbathing lawn invite you to relax and enjoy your time outdoors. Wi‑Fi and a flat‑screen TV ensure additional comfort. The bedroom was completely renovated in April 2026, and the bathroom was modernized in 2021. Bed linen and towels are available for rent for an additional fee.
When I am in Steibis myself, I particularly enjoy hiking, as the excellent network of trails offers routes of all difficulty levels. This allows every guest to choose exactly the hike that suits them best. In summer, a swim in the nearby Alpsee or a trip to the Buchenegger Waterfalls is highly recommended. In winter, Steibis is ideal for downhill and cross‑country skiing, or simply for enjoying peaceful snowshoe walks through the beautiful winter landscape.
Sports & Activities: Hiking, Nordic walking, mountain biking, an 18‑hole golf course, ski area, cross‑country ski trails, sledding (sleds available for rent), as well as an adventure swimming pool and an ice‑skating rink in Oberstaufen. Shopping & Services: Various shopping options in Steibis, including a cash machine, sports shop, and a selection of restaurants. Larger supermarkets, pharmacies, and additional services can be found in nearby Oberstaufen.
