Welcome to the Maijeschhof! Idyllically located at the foot of the Kasselburg, in the heart of the Vulkaneifel, the Maijeschhof, built in 1807, combines rural life in the old village core of Pelm with the walking distance to the town of Gerolstein. Our lovingly renovated former farmhouse offers you plenty of space and numerous opportunities for a relaxing holiday. In the historic barn, there are four charming holiday apartments that combine modern comfort with rustic flair. Our common room (available for rent only through the landlord directly) provides a cozy meeting place in front of the fireplace – ideal for cooking together, enjoying coffee, or for meetings and seminars. In the warm months, the sun terrace, garden, and barbecue area invite you to relax. For adventure seekers, there’s even the option to camp on our lawn. The apartment 4 is suitable for people with mobility impairments. It is located on the ground floor and is accessible without steps. The shower is also on the same level with a shower stool and grab bar. The door widths comply with accessibility standards, and there is necessary maneuvering space for people with disabilities. Air conditioning: The building features thick rubble stone walls and is heated by underfloor heating with an air heat pump, which is centrally switched to cooling during high outdoor temperatures. Owner Ellen Petry spent happy childhood days here, bought the farm in 2021, and now lives in the old farmhouse. She personally welcomes you and is there to assist you with advice and action.
