Our two apartments in the heart of Oberammergau are modern, bright and furnished with great attention to detail. They are places to arrive — calm, clear and thoughtfully maintained so your vacation can begin with ease. Both apartments are fully equipped: bed linen, bath and hand towels, shampoo and a hair dryer are provided, as well as a washing machine and underfloor heating in the bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout. Baby cribs and high chairs for children aged 0–3 are available on request. The apartment on the first floor (approx. 90 sqm) is especially spacious and light-filled. It also features an infrared cabin for deep relaxation after an active day, as well as a dryer. The ground-floor apartment (approx. 80 sqm) is more sheltered and particularly cozy. It offers a small outdoor area with a view toward the Laber — perfect for breakfast in the morning sun or a quiet pause in the evening. Both apartments comfortably accommodate 2–4 adults and, depending on the setup, families of up to 5 or 6 people. Free parking is available nearby, and loading and unloading is possible directly in front of the house. On request, we are happy to prepare a stocked fridge with regional Ammergau specialties for your arrival (for a fee). Guests of the NATO School Oberammergau are very welcome.

We live in the same house, just next door, and are happy to help if you have any questions or requests — while fully respecting your privacy. There is also a small practice for relaxation and inner balance located in our house, which guests can optionally book. Whether you travel alone, as a couple or with family, our apartments offer a protected and welcoming space for your time in the Ammertal — right in the village and yet very much with yourself. Our apartments are located in the heart of Oberammergau — central yet quiet. Everything you need for daily life is within easy walking distance: bakery, butcher, supermarkets, restaurants and small shops offering regional products. Cafés and the world-famous Passion Play Theatre are also close by. Nature is immediately present. Walking paths, hiking trails and quiet places begin right outside the door. The Meditation Path of the Ammergau Alps, which leads from the Wieskirche via Ettal to the UNESCO World Heritage Site Linderhof Palace with the Venus Grotto, runs nearby and invites mindful moments while walking. Excursion destinations such as Lake Eibsee, the Zugspitze, Lake Plansee, Neuschwanstein Castle and nearby thermal spas are all easily reachable — set within a landscape that offers openness and a sense of space. Our location — right between the Zugspitze and Neuschwanstein Castle — makes many things possible: being active or becoming still, exploring or simply staying, being outside or turning inward. And sometimes, it is enough to simply be here.
