Stylish, comfy, modern apartment for 2-4 people in a wisteria- & vine-covered house on the edge of the village of Niederkirchen, 2km from the historic centre of Deidesheim. Completely renovated 2020. Spacious, quiet & cool in summer, the apartment has one bedroom with a double bed and ensuite bathroom. The large living room, with open-plan kitchen & dining area, includes a comfortable bed-sofa for 2 children/adults with half-bath off hallway. The main bathroom with rain shower is only accessible through the bedroom. We do not accept guests who smoke or pets, sorry.
We - Mary (American) & Colin (Brit) - have lived in Germany for 40+ years. We love to travel and we love to meet new people. Both expand our horizons and provide us with an opportunity for learning more about the world around us. If you want to be left alone, no problem. If you would like to have more contact, we are available to share.
Niederkirchen is a quiet village offering peace and the good things in life just a short distance from the busier tourist hotspots along the Weinstrasse. Numerous vintners and distillers and the local Winzerverein offer high-quality wines and spirits. Our local butcher is very good, offering local meat products whenever available. Our local bakery (open only on Fridays) specialises in tasty, homemade cakes. Buses to Deidesheim or Ludwigshafen/Mannheim a few times a day. Train services are available from Deidesheim station. By prior arrangement guests can be picked up from local train stations (Bad Dürkheim, Neustadt, Deidesheim). Taxi services to other destinations are available. Cycle paths abound in the region. Motorcyclists will enjoy exploring the wonderful roads of the Pfälzerwald and adjoining regions. Walkers are close to the amazing network of well-marked paths that the Pfälzerwald-Verein are so famous for. Eateries catering to hungry and thirsty walkers/cyclists are to be found at well-spaced intervals throughout the woods and all along the Weinstrasse (wine road). Niederkirchen is the perfect place when exploring the region - We look forward to welcoming you!

Spacious, quiet and cool in summer, the apartment has one bedroom with a double bed and private bathroom. The large living room, with open-plan kitchen & dining area, includes a comfortable double bed-sofa with a half-bath off the hallway.
