Company info

In May 2014, the former youth holiday centre was acquired and restored by Ms Gonda Hinrichs. The area is not new territory for her: as a native of Meldorf, she lived in Dithmarschen until 1979 and even after moving, first to Berlin and then to Hamburg, she kept many contacts alive with old friends who had settled here. Ms Hinrichs has been running a film- and theatre construction company for three decades and has been happy to host this great location since 2016.

Property info

A 5-hectare park-like garden with old fruit trees, several ponds, fireplaces and secluded corners offers a place for every guest to relax alone or together. All 7 flats have private, ground-level access and are also suitable as home offices. The lawn in front of the flats is big enough for ball games, boules tournaments and picnics - at the same time if needed. Dogs are welcome at the Forellenhof. A special feature is also the large pool (30 x 8 metres) with daybeds and seating areas.

Neighborhood info

The Forellenhof is located in the hilly country of Dithmarschen, a few kilometres from the next villages. It is not far to the surrounding forests and the beaches of the North Sea.
