We are the host family behind Haus der alten Bäume, based in Hillesheim. We created this high-quality holiday and group house to balance shared experiences with private retreat: six individually designed solid-wood room worlds, quiet reading corners, a spacious common room and a natural garden beneath mature trees. Our goal is to make families, groups of friends, seminar teams and retreat guests feel welcome and well supported from the very first moment.
The house is in a quiet part of Hillesheim, right by the Bolsdorfer Tälchen valley with meadows, small streams and walking paths. The old town, cafes, bakery, restaurants and everyday shopping are all within short reach. It is an ideal base for exploring the Volcanic Eifel, including the Eifelsteig trail, the Daun crater lakes and the Nürburgring area.
